NECA at San Diego Comic Con 2011

Wow, over the past few weeks, we’ve announced some awesome news regarding this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. We’re bringing a bag full of goodies, and just in case you’ve been hiding out and missed the news, here’s a brief recap of all the specials we’re bringing with us this year!

SDCC “Gort” Predator

The original 1987 version of the Predator with the original prototype mask not used on screen but known to Predator fans worldwide, the “Gort” mask. As seen in behind the scenes footage and the Stan Winston “Winston Effect” book. Classic Predator also includes a newly sculpted left hand holding a skull and spine trophy.

2011 San Diego Comic Con Gizmo

Gizmo comes complete with removable sunglasses to protect himself from the bright lights and the California sun along with a special lanyard badge for his Comic-Con attendance and a tote bag that Gizmo can be placed inside to hide from the Gremlins or from the crowds of fanboys and fangirls in San Diego. Gizmo is fully poseable including articulated ears and movable eyes! If you’ve seen Gremlins, then at some point you’ve wanted your own Mogwai. Now you can take this limited edition Gizmo home with you from the SDCC.

SDCC Exclusive Deer Eating Zombie Mini Bust

From The Walking Dead, this 6.5” tall statue comes with COA signed by Special Makeup Effects Supervisor Greg Nicotero and is $50. But it’s imited to only 1200 pcs worldwide, so you better get it quick!

Gears of War 3 SDCC Exclusive Thrashball Cole Statue (Bronze Finish).

This highly detailed resin statue painted with a bronze finish stands nearly 13″ tall and is limited to only 100 pcs. That means you better get to our booth first, or you may not get one.

Of course the big announcement was our “freebie.” And it’s a BIG announcemet in more ways than one. We’re giving away life size GOW3 Retro Lancers!

And the best part is, you can even play at home!

For SDCC attendees, just get your picture taken with it at our booth, upload it to our Facebook page, confirm with an attendant and you’re in. We’ll even give you a free pair of COGS.
